Thaikhun Bar has been shortlisted for an SBID Restaurant Design Award with JMDA

Thaikhun Street Bar, pronounced ‘tycoon’, is Liverpool's very own slice of Thailand located on Chavasse Park in Liverpool ONE. This is our first ever bar from the family of Thaikhun restaurants!

The inspiration behind the bar is to give the people of Liverpool a taste of what to expect when visiting the Land of Smiles. Whether you’ve been to Thailand or purely dream of going, whilst you’re in our home you’ll feel as though you’re there.

We’re proud to be shortlisted for the SBID Restaurant Design Award in conjunction with our fantastic designers, JMDA. Sip on one of our boozy slushies or our Thai-inspired cocktails and feel instantly transported to the streets of Bangkok. JMDA have sure succeeded at creating the ultimate Thai Street Bar in the heart of Liverpool.

‘The ground floor area comprised of two parts; the Marketplace and the Warehouse. The Marketplace features fixed booths with a market stall canopy, a bamboo canopy bar and a stage for live music performances. The Warehouse area features a shipping container bar, reclaimed Thai riverboat fixed seating and a feature digital artwork printed wall. With a much lower ceiling than the rest of the unit, this area was a more intimate affair where loose reclaimed furniture, rustic lighting and views out into the external seating area come together to create a snug hideaway for guests.’

We also have an upstairs games room perfect for those who love to show their competitive side. Join us for Beer Pong, Ping Pong, Connect 4 and giant Jenga!
